Richard Davies - Facilitator
As a facilitator for the Annapolis Valley Parkinson Support Group, trained by Parkinson Canada, I welcome you to our site. Our support group helps those who are diagnosed with Parkinson's, and their carers, to meet other people with Parkinson's, ask questions, and talk in a supportive atmosphere.
We meet at the New Minas Baptist Church Annex (the narrow building near the road), every third Tuesday of the month, from September to June. In December and June, the group gathers at a local restaurant for lunch, which is always enjoyable.
New members can join directly or be referred by Parkinson Canada. You can expect to increase your
understanding of the disease, and have fun and support while doing so.
We look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
Richard Davies

Rhonda Fry - Administration
We'd like you to meet Rhonda Fry. Also trained by Parkinson Canada, she is the 'secretary' for our group and often the first person you'll speak with or email. She communicates with our members, sends details regarding our monthly meetings, and shares any other relevant information. In other words, she is the glue that keeps us together...and informed!

Bruce Poole - Treasurer
I worked as a Weapons Radar Tech at the Naval Dockyard for 35 years before retiring 21 years ago. For the past two decades, I've called Hantsport home and enjoy the peace of small-town living. I'm proud to be a grandfather to six and a great-grandfather to three.
Over the past couple of years, I've been involved with The Annapolis Valley Parkinson's Support Group of which my wife and I are members. In my spare time, I enjoy sim racing, riding my e-bike, cooking and photography.
